A MODERN THERAPY PRACTICE

At Waves of Emotions, we believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

We offer personalised support, tailored to your unique needs.

HI, I’m ASTER

Smiling woman sitting indoors near a window on a green sofa with beige curtains in the background.

A Belgian girl currently based in Antwerp.

I’m a counselor, and I support people who feel stuck — in themselves, in their relationships, or within their family.

In my work, I focus on calm, clarity, and honesty. I create a safe space to explore what’s really going on — and what might be possible from here.

LIFE CAN SOMETIMES FEEL OVERWHELMING

A loss, a major life change, or a break-up—these are just a few experiences that can turn our world upside down. It can feel like a big wave crashing over you, leaving you disoriented.

Sometimes you don't exactly know why you don't feel well. There’s stress, restlessness, or a sense of emptiness, without a clear cause. Whether it’s a small or a big wave, having someone by your side during those moments can make a difference. At Waves of Emotions, I offer a safe and supportive space where your story matters.

The people I work with often find themselves:

  • Questioning who they are in relationships — giving too much, or losing themselves

  • Feeling stuck in family patterns, unsure how to move forward

  • Tired, overloaded, or emotionally numb from carrying too much for too long

  • Longing for change, but not knowing where to start

  • Living between worlds — expats or travellers navigating the tension between freedom and homesickness

  • Grieving a loss — of a person, a place, a phase of life — and unsure how to move through it

  • Struggling with identity or self-worth, wondering who they are beneath all the expectations

  • Feeling anxious, restless or emotionally unsettled, even when “everything looks fine” on the outside
